Help Guide Articles
Some of the links contained in this article will require logging in to Zendesk. Here are the instructions for how to do that: Signing in to the Help Desk Guide.
Domain Account
Every MCCSC employee is provided a domain account (What is a Domain Account?) giving them access to the MCCSC network, Microsoft license/email, and Google Suite. This username and password will be used as the login for multiple systems, which will be noted in the categories below. Domain account username and password cannot be changed in those individual systems and instructions for changing the domain account password can be found here: Windows/PC Network/Email Password Change and MacOS Password Change.
Systems
Microsoft Outlook Email
All MCCSC employees are provided an outlook email address. The username and password to log in to Outlook as well as other Microsoft services such as OneDrive are linked to an individual's domain account. Multifactor authentication (MFA) is required with this service and the instructions for setup for that can be found here: Multifactor Authentication (MFA)/2-Step Verification Setup - O365.
Google Suite
All MCCSC employees are provided a Google Suite account, which gives them access to an mccsc.net email account as well as Google Drive. The username is the same as the domain account, however, the password is different. 2-Step Verification (2FA) is also required for use of Google Suite. Instructions on setup for that can be found here: Multifactor Authentication (MFA)/2-Step Verification Setup - Google.
Skyward
There are two Skywards: Skyward Employee and Skyward Student. They are completely separate and have separate login pages. Skyward Employee is for accessing employee data such as time-off, job listings, and financial management. Skyward Student is accessed for student data. In order to log on to these systems, you will need to visit the correct website. Changing the login area drop-box on the webpage for one will not log you in to the other.
Employee Access
Skyward Employee Access houses financial and human resources data for MCCSC. Employees would access this area for information related to their paycheck as well as time-off. Log in as single sign-on (SSO) by selecting Log-in with Entra.
Educator/Student/Qmlativ
Skyward Educator/Student is our student information system where you would find the majority of student data, including attendance, scheduling, etc. The login for this system is linked to an individual's domain account. Similar to the Skyward Employee process, please navigate to the Skyward student login screen and select Sign In with Entra. If prompted, enter your .edu email address in the Email, phone, or Skype field, followed by your domain password. After completing multi-factor authentication (MFA), you should have access to your Skyward account. If you encounter any errors or if the appropriate content does not appear, please contact your school's front office.
ParentSquare
ParentSquare is a unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with MCCSC. All district and school, grade-level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. Information about ParentSquare including their own guide can be found here: ParentSquare MCCSC Resource Page.
ParentSquare data does pull from information entered into Skyward Student. Therefore, if you are having issues, it is recommended to check with the front office and/or the person who takes care of setting up courses in your building.
Canvas
Canvas is the Learning Management System (LMS) used by MCCSC for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of student instruction. The login for this system is also linked to an individual's domain account and cannot be changed independently. There is a Canvas course available to new teachers, which provides helpful information about building Canvas courses as well as expectations for using Canvas.
Clever
Clever is an educational tool that provides single sign-on (SSO) for learning applications, such as Reading Eggs, Mathseeds, Study Island, Learn360, Naviance, and more. Students can use their MCCSC credentials to sign or select sign-in with and use their @mccsc.net Google credentials. Teachers will use their domain account username. Teachers cannot use the sign-in with Google feature. Additional assistance with logging in can be found in this article: Clever Log in Instructions.
