Description
Passwords now expire every 180 days for all employees. This article can guide an employee through the steps to take if the password expires. Here is the article on how to change the password before it expires: MacOS Password Change.
Steps
If you do not have Wi-Fi and did not receive the Password Expired message, you will need to contact your building technician for an ethernet adapter to proceed.
If your password has expired on your MacBook and you are still connected to Wi-Fi or ethernet, you will receive a Password Expired message.
Click OK and follow the prompts to change your password.
Enter your old and new password as requested.
You will then be notified your password was changed successfully!
Important Note
You will need to sign out of WiFi and re-authenticate, logout of email and Office 365 applications and re-enter your new password.
