Description
This article includes instructions on junk mail options such as Block Sender, etc. in Outlook desktop client and Web Access.
Steps
Outlook Full Desktop Client
- Select message that needs marked as junk.
- Click the Junk button on the top bar under Home.
- That will give multiple options, including Block Sender, (multiple) Never Block Sender, as well as the Options which will open a new window.
Outlook Web Access
- Select message that needs marked as junk.
- Click the Report Phishing/Junk button on the top bar as pictured below.
Troubleshooting
There may also be difficult to locate messages that unintentional go to junk mail. To fix this:
- Open Junk on the right navigation bar.
- Right-click on message that is not junk.
- Scroll down to Junk and select Not Junk from the side options.
- This will move that message back to the Inbox, and prevent the sender from going into the Junk folder in the future.
