Description
This article explains how to clear browser history in Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome.
Steps
Safari
- Click on the Safari tab at the top left of your screen and choose Preferences from the dropdown menu.

Click the Advanced tab of the menu that pops up.
- At the end of the tab, select the Show Develop menu in menu bar box.
- Click the Develop tab from the Safari menu at the top of the page. Click Empty Caches from the dropdown menu.
Mozilla Firefox
- Open Firefox.
- Click on Tools.
- Click on Settings.
- Click on Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to History.
- Click on Clear History.
- Click Ok.
Google Chrome
- Open Chrome.
- Click on ellipsis in the open right hand corner.
- Click Settings.
- Click Privacy and Security on the left side.
- Click Clear browsing data.
- Click Clear data.
