Skyward Family Access Overview

Description

This article provides information for guardians/families on navigating through Family Access as well as updating contact information. It is important to note, guardians do need to have an active student to be able to access their Skyward account. If the student(s) have been withdrawn for longer than a semester, families will need to go to the website and request an account to complete enrollment by clicking the "I don't have an email" check box. Please see this article for instructions on how to do that: Can't Log In to Skyward Family Access. The admin assistant will then select the guardian's record during the application process which will link the family with the previous Family Access account.

Enrollment Instructions

Enrollment is for students who have never been to MCCSC or have been away from the corporation for longer than a semester: Log-In Instructions for New Student Online Enrollment (NSOE), Filling out Application Instructions for NSOE (New Student Online Enrollment). 

Registration Instructions

Annual registration is required for all returning students and those instructions can be found here: Online Registration for Existing MCCSC Students.

Steps

Each parent or guardian receives a login for family access while registering a student. To log-into Skyward Family Access, follow these steps:

 

 

*If you do not know your Family Access login, use the “Forgot your Username or Password?” link to reset your password using the email address you provided during registration.

If you are having issues logging in and your student(s) have not been enrolled in an MCCSC school for longer than a semester, please see this article: Can't Log In to Skyward Family Access

  • Step 2: Viewing Student Information

    • Once logged in, it should display multiple tiles. If not, please select the down arrow next to the home icon and select Family Access.

    • If the information is not displaying properly within a tile, please contact the secretary at the school your students goes to to get this fixed. 

  • Step 3: Updating Contact Info

    • From the Home screen in Family Access, select the Student Profile tile.
    • Locate Your Family Information and click Edit.

    • Update your family contact details as needed.

      Note: Changes made here will apply to all students linked to your account, not just the selected student. These updates will also sync with ParentSquare and school alert notifications.
